Examples of Letterhead, Postage Marks and V-Mail

The provenance of many of Hobbs' letters can be identified by the use of stationary and letterhead specific to his posting. Letters mailed while he was in active service are franked; note that CLH writes "Free" in place of a postage stamp. Note the format of V-mails, which indicate that they have been approved by a censor.
